        This was how Jedi Geeks had fun...

        Featuring...  Star Wars in ASCII art format, using telnet.

        (Telnet was how jedi geeks connected to other computers and servers, during the time when Internet Explorer wasn't even in the mind of Bill Gates.  The other methods they used to connect to other computers were known via jedi geek acronyms such as FTP, SLIP, PPP, etc.)

        If you have time to spare, telnet to the server towel.blinkenlights.nl port 23 and enjoy the movie.

        Don't know how to telnet?

        Duh?

        On Windows, click on Start -> Run -> and type in "telnet towel.blinkenlights.nl" without the quotes.

        If by chance you're still using Windows 98 and telnet doesn't run, too bad.  You're out of luck.
